Motor Cognition

Motor Cognition theorizes the same mental processes that plan a movement are also used to develop cognition.  This implies our movements build the foundation that supports higher levels of brain function such as Attention; Memory, Reasoning, Comprehension, Mathematics, Language, Problem-Solving, and even Socialization.

Martial arts instruction provides the best activity to develop these planned movements, because the activity can be performed individually or with a group.  There are infinite amount of ways in which one can train, this creates for an opportunity for a highly adaptable program. However, it is only NEURON-DO® that brings Martial Arts instruction to the next level by connecting the physical movements with cognitive strategies.
